Code Yellow for Dangerous Weather Declared in Western Bulgaria

Code Yellow for thunderstorms and torrential rains is announced for nine regions in western Bulgaria, said Bulgaria's Meteorology and Hydrology Institute.

In the late afternoon of May 29 are expected heavy rains and high winds, thunderstorms and hailstorms are also forecast.

The bad weather is expected to continue through Friday and Saturday. 

The Code Yellow for potentially dangerous weather is announced for Vidin, Montana, Vratsa, Lovech, Sofia – Region, Sofia – City, Pernik, Kyustendil and Blagoevgrad regions.
