Bulgaria Producer Prices Rise 0,9% in Dec y/y

Bulgaria's index of total producer prices rose 1,2 % in December from the previous month after plunging 5,53% the year before during the first months of the crisis, data showed on Friday.

Bulgarian producer prices on the domestic market increased 0,9% on a monthly basis in December, after edging up 0,3 percent a month earlier. Producer prices fell 0,7 percent on an annual basis.

Prices in the mining industry increased by 4,6 % in December on a monthly basis, processing industry prices rose 0,9%, while prices in the production and distribution of gas, power and electricity edged up 0,2%.
