A third body was found at the apartment in the Parisian suburb of Saint-Denis, which police raided on Wednesday in response to last week's attacks in the French capital.

Police confirmed that the body of a woman was recovered overnight, but authorities did not disclose her identity, the BBC informs.

A passport bearing the name of Hasna Aitboulahcen, who blew herself up during the police raid, was found in a handbag at the scene.

The suspected mastermind of the attacks in Paris, Abdelhamid Abaaoud, was killed in the police siege, which lasted for seven hours.

The death of Abaaoud was confirmed, but the other two bodies in Rue Cormillon apartment have not been formally identified yet.

Islamic State (IS) claimed responsibility for the attacks in Paris on November 13, which left 129 people dead and hundreds injured.

Eight men armed with suicide belts and machine guns attacked six sites across the French capital almost simultaneously.

Seven of the attackers died, while the eighth suspect Salah Abdeslam is still being sought for his alleged participation in the attacks.
