Turkish Airlines Plane Resumes Istanbul-Prague Flight After Emergency Landing in Sofia

According to airport authorites, there were no injuries among the 117 passengers on board the aircraft flying from Istanbul to Prague, the Sofia-based news outlet said.
The pilot requested permission to land in Sofia while overflying Bulgaria, citing smoke in the cockpit. The plane touched down safely at 1813 Sofia time (1513 GMT).
An inspection revealed that a smoke indicator had issued a false alarm signal.
The plane took off for Prague at 2020 Sofia time (1720 GMT).
