The Bulgarian government approved the resignation of the deputy chairperson of the State Agency for National Security (DANS) Vanya Stefanova.
The decision was taken at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on Friday, the government press service reports.
Stefanova was appointed to the position in the summer of 2013 by the Socialist-led government of Prime Minister Plamen Oresharski.
With another decision, the cabinet dismissed the chairperson of the Archives State Agency Ivan Komitski and instead appointed historian Prof. Mihail Gruev, who is a lecturer at Sofia University.
