Bulgarian City of Burgas to Launch Sports Hall Project

The Regional Development Fund has granted a total of BGN 5 M for the launch of the sports hall Arena project in Bulgarian city of Burgas.
The first stage will be put out to tender for the selection of project and contractor.
The launch of the project increases the chances of the application of Burgas to host the European Athletics Indoor Championship in 2019.
Burgas Arena hall will be built on the site of the military division in the Izgrev complex.
The city administration has rejected all offers for the construction of a residential district and has opted to build a multipurpose sports hall for 27 sports.
