CSKA Hammer Archrivals Levski in Bulgaria Derby

Bulgaria’s CSKA Sofia secured a dominant 3:0 win against archrivals Levski Sofia in in the 13th round of the domestic league.

CSKA stunned their opponents in the first half, scoring three goals in just seven minutes.
Serbian full-back Nemanja Milisavljevic opened the score in the 30th minute following a neat pass from Bulgaria international Emil Gragorov.

Defender Apostol Popov doubled CSKA’s lead with a header in the 34th minute, and Gargorov punished a defensive error for a third goal two minutes later.

Stoycho Mladenov’s boys missed a couple of chances to make their lead even bigger after the break, while Levski did little to trouble goalkeeper Tomas Cerny.

CSKA are now second with 26 points, while the team of newly appointed coach Antony Zdravkov remains sixth with 19.

Police presence has been increased in downtown Sofia, as clashes often erupt between fans of the two teams.

A total of 66 football hooligans were busted before Saturday’s game. The detainees were without identity documents, intoxicated, or violating public order .
