Bulgarian Nationalist Party Denies Allegations of Mulling No-Confidence Vote

Nationalist party Ataka has not adopted a decision to demand a no-confidence motion against Bulgaria's socialist-led government, according to Stanislav Stanilov, MP of the formation.

Stanilov, as cited by mediapool.bg, made clear Monday that his colleague Magdalena Tasheva had suggested that it was possible for Ataka to initiate a no-confidence motion but no decision on the matter had been taken yet.

On Sunday, Tasheva told Nova TV that the nationalist party could seek a no-confidence motion against the government over the influx of Syrian refugees.

She claimed that Bulgaria was hit by "Islamic colonization taking place in the form of a refugee wave."
