Verona Snap Up Bulgarian Keeper Mihaylov

Italian side Hellas Verona have completed the signing of Bulgarian international goalkeeper Nikolay Mihaylov.

The statement was released by Verona late on Tuesday after the goalkeeper underwent a medical. He will wear shirt number 31.

Mihaylov was bought for an undisclosed fee, but it was thought to be nominal considering he only had a year left on his contract, according to Football Italia.

The 25-year-old Bulgarian international had been close to Sassuolo over the last few days, but opted for Verona instead.

It is believed Twente will receive 20 per cent of any future transfer fee as part of the deal.
