Two Italian Teams Interested in Bulgaria’s Manolev - Report

Italian teams Chievo Verona and Parma are the primary contenders for signing Bulgaria's national team player Stanislav Manolev, according to Italian media reports.

The 28-year-old Bulgarian is a free agent, since terminating his contract with PSV Eindhoven on mutual consent earlier this month. Since then, he has been training with his former club Litex Lovech, but is unlikely to remain in the Bulgarian league.

Parma is ranked 7th in the Italian Serie A after 21 rounds, while Chievo is 16th. Last week, Parma signed the promising Bulgarian youngster Georg Vasilev on a 6-month loan from Lokomotiv Sofia.
