Berbatov Says He Loves to Work with Fulham Boss Jol

Fulham’s Bulgarian striker Dimitar Berbatov has told reporters that he loves to work with Dutch manager Marin Jol.

Berbatov has revealed that Jol was a key factor in his decision to swap Old Trafford for Craven Cottage last summer.

“I love this guy,” Berbatov told the Fulham magazine Fultime.

“It had been a long time since we worked together so when I came here to team up with him again it was great for me because we click,” he said.

“I can see that he trusts me 100 per cent on the pitch and this is what I like about him. It’s up to me to not disappoint him and this is my first and only goal really - not to let down the man who has put all his trust in me. So I try my best on the pitch.”

Berbatov's agent, Emil Danchev, recently confirmed that his client will stay at Fulham for another season.
