The World Cup 2014 qualifier football match between Bulgaria and Denmark has ended with a 1 – 1 draw in Copenhagen Tuesday evening.

The Bulgarian national team, led by coach, Lyuboslav Penev, played a good game, which dealt a blow to Denmark's chances of qualifying for the World Cup.

Early in the second half with a classic counter-attack, Bulgarian midfielder Stanislav Manolev swept the ball home and scored the first goal in the game.

After a controversial referee penalty call, Daniel Agger struck the ball right in the Bulgarian goal. Bulgarians were not able to score another one, despite a strong performance until the end of the match.

Bulgaria is now second in the group with 10 points, while Italy kept the top spot after a win against Malta.
