The so-called social retirement pension of the oldest Bulgarians is going up by BGN 10, effective April 1, 2013.
With the increase, the pension will be BGN 110 a month, which will have an effect on the amount of the pensions of disabled army servicemen, of all handicap people and individual pensions.
The decision was made at the regularly-scheduled Wednesday meeting of the Council of Ministers.
The supplement, given to disabled retirees, will also increase since it is 25% of the social pension for disability.
The Cabinet is expected to approve later the dates for official religious holidays for religions in the country other than the Christian Orthodox.
