A tow truck was chased by horse-mounted riders downtown in Bulgaria's capital Sofia Tuesday, after officers managed to tow the cart pulled by the horse.

The entertaining incident occurred right in front of the Vassil Levski National Stadium in central Sofia, where the horse-drawn cart had parked.

Officers from Sofia's Center for Urban Mobility, which manages parking in the city, proceeded to unharness the horse in order to tow the cart.

Not only was the vehicle parked improperly, but carts drawn by animal power are actually not allowed in the center and main boulevards of Sofia.

Upon seeing what has happened, the two men who own the cart hurried to the scene, mounted the unharnessed horse and proceeded to pursue the tow vehicle.

Riding a horse in the streets of central Sofia is also in breach of traffic rules.
