Bulgarian police authorities have claimed they have discovered the murderer of a young man whose body was discovered last week outside the southern village of Kladnitsa.

The suspect is a Russian male who has Bulgarian citizenship, according to the Bulgarian Interior Ministry. The victim was a Finnish man aged around 30.

"In less than two days, the forensic teams discovered and captured the murderer of the young man who was found near Kladnitsa," Interior Minister Tsvetan Tsvetanov has told Focus.

The grisly murder presumably took place in Sofia on October 9. The body was then transported to Kladnitsa, where it was set on fire.

The Finnish man was allegedly murdered by the brother of his girlfriend. According to rumors, the victim was involved in illegal drug trade, Btv says.
