Bulgaria Among Georgia's Key Trade Partners - Envoy

Bulgaria is one of Georgia's main trade partners, Georgia's Ambassador to the Balkan country Mikhail Ukleba has pointed out.

The total trade turnover between the two countries was USD 349.2 M in 2011, an 80% increase year on year, Ukleba has revealed.

Bulgaria is now his country's eight biggest trading partner.

In 2011, Bulgaria's main exports to Georgia were petroleum products, medicines and cosmetics, while Georgia's top exports to Bulgaria were honey products and nitrogen fertilizers.

Ukleba was interviewed by the Bulgarian National Radio on the occasion of the 20th anniversary since Bulgarian and Georgia established diplomatic relations.
