The International Atomic Energy Agency has presented false information concerning Iran's nuclear facilities, according to a high Iranian official.

IAEA employees mistook chemical toilets in Iran for nuclear facilities, Ali Bagheri, deputy secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, stated during a press conference in Moscow, ITAR-TASS informs.

Bagheri described the recent IAEA report, which indicates that Tehran has been continuing secret work on nuclear weapon development, as "politically-motivated" and "based on false documents fabricated by Washington," according to RIA Novosti.

Bagheri, who was in Moscow on Thursday to meet with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, further claimed the IAEA report was aimed at derailing Russia's efforts to find a diplomatic solution.

According to the Iranian official, Israel is "too weak politically and economically" to launch an attack on his country.

"If the Zionist regime attempts this, it will put Israel's existence, not merely legitimacy, in question," he said.
