A deal has been reach between Manchester United and Paris St-Germain on Bulgarian striker Dimitar Berbatov's transfer to the French club, according to a report.

PSG will offer Berbatov a lucrative EUR 100 000 salary, the Italian website Tuttomercatoweb has reported.

The Italians state PSG are ready to offer the Red Devils a bid between EUR 15 M and EUR 20 M, sums already mentioned by the media. The French club were recently bankrolled by rich Qatari businessmen.

However, Berbatov's agent, Emil Danchev, has decisively denied any statements that he is heading to France.

"I am sick of nonsense being spread about Dimitar," Danchev has said, as cited by the Bulgarian Sportal.

Berbatov hit 20 Premier League goals that earned him the Golden Boot alongside Manchester City's Carlos Tevez as United claimed a record 19th title. However, the 30-year-old former Bulgarian international spent much time on the bench towards his last season at Old Trafford, as he lost his first team place to Javier Hernandez.
