Bulgaria Air Welcomed to Embraer's E-Jets Portfolio

Bulgaria's Bulgaria Air airline has been officially included in Embraer's portfolio of E-Jets costumers.

Under a new agreement with a leasing company, the Bulgarian air carrier will will operate three Embraer 190 jets from Sofia.

"It's wonderful to have another customer endorsing our E-Jets philosophy in this region of Europe," said Paulo C?sar de Souza e Silva, Embraer President, Commercial Aviation, as cited by charterx.com on Friday. "E-Jets are already flying with airlines in Moldova, Montenegro, and Ukraine. Bulgaria Air's new Embraer 190s will bring even more visibility to the potential for right sizing capacity, new market development and fleet renewal opportunities in the Balkans and Central Europe."

"Following a detailed analysis of the destinations to which we fly and taking into consideration the aircraft's size, efficiency and passenger comfort, we selected the EMBRAER 190," Yanko Georgiev, Bulgaria Air CEO, commented, according to the same source.

The Embraer E-Jets are a series of narrow-body, twin-engine, medium-range, jet airliners produced by Embraer, the Brazilian aerospace conglomerate that produces commercial, military, and corporate aircraft.
