Bulgaria's Top Male Tennis Star with New ATP Record

Bulgaria's top male tennis player, Grigor Dimitrov, continues to climb ahead in the world ATP list.

After advancing to the second round of the ATP Challenger in Prague, Czech Republic, and defeating Stepahne Robert of France 6-1 3-6 6-3 last week, the 19-year-old Bulgarian player, from the southern city of Haskovo, is now 64th in the world.

This is a new record-breaker in Bulgaria's male tennis history.

The young Bulgarian competitor has 781 points, which is 69 points away from the top 60.

Dimitrov is taking part next week in the tournament in Nice, France, with a prize fund of EUR39 8 250.

The top remain the same - Rafael Nadal, Spain is number one, but his lead before the second - Novak Djokovic, Serbia is down to 1 805 points. Roger Federer from Switzerland is third.
