The political council of Bulgaria's conservative Order, Law and Justice (RZS) party has sent an open letter to the media voicing outrage about Prime Minister's Boyko Borisov comments on the international military operation in Libya

The letter demands that Borisov immediately recalls his "inadequate" assessment of the operation; to apologize to French President, Nickolas Sarkozy and UK PM, David Cameron, and state Bulgaria's full support for the coalition.

RZS threaten to otherwise seek all parliamentary and any other ways to "liberate Bulgaria from its own Gaddafi."

The letter was provoked by a Monday TV interview where Borisov criticized the western world for the military action over its interest in "oil money."

"Today we ended with the unacceptable for a leader of a NATO Member State assessment of the operation as a euphoric adventure without clear goals and plan," the letter reads, pointing out these statements are offensive for all from the UN Security Council, and even for countries such as Russia, China, Iran and North Korea.

Borisov's words are a huge diplomatic blunder with possible grave consequences for Bulgaria, RZS believe.

"It is obvious that deeply inside Borisov sympathizes with Gaddafi and similarities between them outnumber the differences. Maybe he does not approve of the hit on Gaddafi because he prepares to strike Bulgarians with force over protests against his own regime? Bulgarians then too will have to rely on the democratic values and humanitarian reactions of the western world," the letter declares.
