Bulgaria's Berbatov Wins Barclays Golden Boot Landmark

Bulgarian striker and Manchester United star Dimitar Berbatov has been presented with a Barclays Golden Boot '10-goal' Landmark Award after becoming the first player in the Barclays Premier League to hit double figures in the season.

This is the first time that the prestigious award is scooped by a Bulgarian player.

The Bulgarian forward made a hat-trick against Liverpool back in September.

At the end of November five goals from Dimitar Berbatov helped Manchester United move to the top of the English Premier League as Alex Ferguson's team thrashed Blackburn Rovers 7-1 at Old Trafford.

Two goals in the first half and three in the second, took his tally to twelve goals for the season so far, topping the list of the league's best strikers.
