Scorpions Surprisingly Postpone Farewell Gig in Sofia

Rock legends Scorpions have unexpectedly canceled in the last minute their gig in Sofia, initially scheduled for October 9, over the deteriorated health of lead singer Klaus Meine, organizers announced late on Thursday.

Earlier Petar Haralampiev aka Haro, one of the organizers of the concert in Bulgaria, had assured the fans that the cancellation of the Scorpions' show in Athens would not affect their performance in Sofia.

The concert of the German rock legends is part of their "Get Your Sting and Blackout World Tour 2010/2011", which will be their farewell tour after 45 years of performing.

It will continue for two years and will be staged in Germany, Switzerland, France, the United States, Canada, Brazil, Mexico and other countries.

Scorpions' are most known for their 1980s rock anthem "Rock You Like a Hurricane" and for their singles "Send me an Angel," "Still Loving You" and "Wind of Change."
