Four groups of Bulgarian meat products will be advertised in Russia, Ukraine, and Croatia.

Bulgaria’s Ministry of Agriculture and Foods announced Sunday that the information and promotional campaign entitled “Eurotaste, Quality, and Tradition” will entail marketing Bulgarian beef, veal, and pork to the Russian, Ukrainian, and Croatian consumers.

In addition to meat, other Bulgarian-made products to be advertised in those countries include canned vegetables, the traditional Bulgarian spread lyutenista, stewed fruit and jam.

The advertising campaign will last for three years, and has been put forth by the Association of Dairy Producers, the Union of Food and Vegetable Processors, the Bulgarian Association of Producers of Vegetables Grown under Glass, and the Federation of Bread and Pastry Producers in Bulgaria.

The promotional campaign will target food distributors, small and medium sized enterprises, food store owners, as well as doctors, nutrition specialists, journalists and cooks in Russia, Ukraine, and Croatia, as Bulgarian-made food will be advertised as healthy and natural.

The advertising strategy of the Bulgarian Agriculture and Foods Ministry include creating a website, logo, DVDs, posters, flyers, TV ads, participation in expos and fairs, tasting events, and trips to Bulgarian food factories.
