Bulgaria Prosecutors have charged Zlatomir Ivanov aka Baretata, along with 15 other men, with setting up an organized criminal group to distribute illegal drugs.

Ivanov was accused along with his fellow members: Evgeniy Evtimov, Georgi Yordanov, Martin Dimitrov, Valentin Lukov, Kosta Trifonov, Borislav Sekulov, Marin Valchev, Rosen Ivanov, Kiril Atanasov, Bogdan Vasilev, Martin Goreski, Vasil Kolev, Yuliyan Zashev, Daniel Krastev, Stoyan Dichev. The only member still missing is Anton Savov – Ivanov’s second in command.

Prosecutors reported that the activity of some members of the group was not directly related to the spreading of drugs, but instead with the ‘opening’ of markets and the collection and hiding of income gained from criminal activity.

Ivanov and Dimitrov were also charged in relation to the murder of Pernik drugs boss Rumen Stefanov in 2007.
