The Bulgarian drug boss, Dimitar Zhelyazkov, aka Mityo "Ochite" ("The Eyes"), has been moved back to the prison in Belene, after fighting with another prisoner.

Zhelyazkov spend several days in a prison dorm in the town Kazichene, before being transfered back to the Belene prison.

One of the reason for the moving was that he fought with another prisoner in the dorm - the drug boss from the town of Pernik, Stoyan Krastev - Draganovetsa, Deputy Justice Minister, Hristo Angelov, said Wednesday.

The other reason is some violations have been found in the decision of the commission that allowed the transfer of Zhelyazkov from the Belene prison to the prison dorm in Kazichene.

The commission took in consideration the Zhelyzkov's good behaviour, and the facts that he had already been in prison for more than six months, and there were less than five years left of his sentence. The Bulgarian law says that in this case the prisoner can be transferred to a penalty institution with lower level of security.

However, Deputy Minister Angelov announced that the commission did not consider the fact that Zhelyazkov is under investigation for other crimes, which automatically excluded the transfer option.

The other prisoner who took part in the fight, Soyan Krastev, has been moved from Kazichene, too. He will spend the rest of his 10-year sentence for weapon possession and drug dealing in the prison in Bobovdol.

In January 2008, Zhelyazkov was convicted of organizing an armed group, drug dealing and drug trafficking. He was sentenced to 4,5 years in jail after he confessed as part of a deal with the prosecution.

The minimum sentence for his crimes is five years but Bulgarian law stipulates that a person who makes confessions must receive a sentence below the minimum. Even receipts for all the money were showed as evidences.
