130 Kids from Eastern Europe Poisoned by Food in Bulgarian Resort

127 children from Bulgaria, Poland, Russia, and the Ukraine have gotten food poising in the Bulgarian Black Sea resort of Sveti Vlas.

The children are from different groups that came on a summer holiday in the Mistral 2 vacation complex in Sveti Vlas.

The regional health inspectorate in the nearby city of Burgas has closed down the seafood restaurant at the Mistral 2 complex, which has caused the poisoning.

A total of 250 kids from Poland, Russia, and the Ukraine aged between 9 and 16, as well as Bulgarian children of kindergarten age, were at the complex at the time the food poisoning occurred. In addition to the 127, 8 teachers have also suffered from it.

Their symptoms included diarrhea, vomiting, and high temperature. According to the local health authorities, the poisoning has started to die down. None of the children have been hospitalized as they were treated on the spot by the local doctors.
