The Bulgarian cement producer Zlatna Panega Cement Jsc registered a net profit increase of 46% in 2008.

Thus, the country's 2008 net profit reached BGN 89,5%, and its 2008 sales volume increased by 35,7% compared to 2007 reaching BGN 213 M.

In 2008, the factory sold a total of 1 497 000 tons of cement compared to 1 239 000 tons in 2007. In addition, in 2008 the Zlatna Panega Cement Jsc registered a transport services revenue of BGN 29,5 M in 2008.

The company's assets in December 2008 amounted to BGN 149 M, and its liabilities - to BGN 62 M.

Zlatna Panega Cement is the descendant of the first cement workshop in Bulgaria which was opened in the village of Zlatna Panega, northeast of Sofia, in 1907. Since 2004, Zlatna Panega Cement has been part of Titan Cement.
