Bulgaria Former Tsar Party May Consider GERB Coalition

EU & Parliamentary Elections 2009 | June 8, 2009, Monday // 16:43|  views

The political party of the former Bulgarian Tsar, Simeon Saxe-Coburg, has not denied possibility of joining a coalition with the GERB party after the general election in July.

When asked at a press conference Monday about a future coalition, Saxe-Coburg answered that it was irresponsible to discuss that matter before having result from the Bulgarian Parliament Elections.

The National Movement for Stability and Prosperity (NMSP) has improved twice its result from the 2007 MEP elections, thus it will have twice as many representatives in the European Parliament, Simeon Saxe-Coburg said.

"NMSP being in opposition does not worry us. This is a possibility that every party must consider, and has in mind", he explained.
