The Interior Ministers of Bulgaria and Serbia have discussed Wednesday the opening of a new border crossing point between the neighboring countries.

Mihail Mikov and Ivica Dačić have also talked about the need of faster processing of the agreements on the protection of classified information. Mikov assured his Serbian colleague that Bulgaria would press for taking Serbia off the "black" Shenghen list.

The two ministers also discussed the construction of an information center on the border crossing point Kalotina.

Ivica Dačić said that there is an excellent co-operation between the Interior ministries of Bulgaria and Serbia in the fight against the organized crime in both countries.

A tri-country agreement between Bulgaria, Serbia, and Romania has already been signed, Dačić added.

He also said that agreements in he fields of terrorist counteraction, border co-operation, and criminal police collaboration would be put in action in the next few months. In his words, a training simulation of a terrorist attack will be organized soon, involving the three countries.

It was the second meeting between Mihail Miкov and Ivica Dačić in the past week, following the talks in Belgrade during a conference on border security in South-Eastern Europe.
