Wednesday, April 15 will bring mostly calm spring weather across Bulgaria, with sunshine dominating large parts of the country. However, cloud cover will be more noticeable in the southern regions, where short-lived and generally light rainfall is possible, mainly over mountainous areas.

Winds will come predominantly from the east-southeast, while in the Danube Plain they will shift from the north-northeast, remaining weak to moderate. In the early hours, air movement is expected to weaken in many places, creating conditions for fog in lowland areas. Morning temperatures will range between 3°C and 8°C, with around 5°C expected in Sofia, while daytime highs will reach between 16°C and 21°C, or about 19°C in the capital.

In the mountains, cloudiness will be more persistent, with scattered light rain and snowfall at elevations above 2,500 meters. A light to moderate east-southeast wind will continue to blow. Temperatures will reach around 13°C at 1,200 meters and approximately 5°C at 2,000 meters.

Along the Black Sea coast, conditions will remain largely favorable, with sunshine and occasional high clouds. Winds from the east-southeast will be light to moderate. Maximum temperatures will range from 12°C to 15°C, while sea water temperatures will be between 9°C and 11°C, with waves around 2 points.

Across the Balkan Peninsula, cloudier conditions will dominate in the west and central areas, where rainfall and thunderstorms are expected in several locations, particularly along the Adriatic coast. In contrast, eastern parts of the region will enjoy more stable and mostly sunny weather.
