COVID-19 Last 24 Hours: 384 People Infected and 8 Passed Away in Bulgaria

Three hundred and eighty-four new coronavirus-infected people were registered in the last 24 hours in Bulgaria with 6,502 tests (nearly 7 percent positive). Eight people have died, according to data from the Unified Information Portal.

The total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria reached 441,295. They were identified by 4,014,833 tests.

A total of 18,475 people have died in Bulgaria since the beginning of the pandemic.

The active cases are 21,178. Of these, 2,452 were hospitalized, including 202 in the intensive care unit.

46 people who tested positive for coronavirus recovered in the last 24 hours. The total number of cured in Bulgaria is 401 642.

Since the beginning of the campaign, 2,218,947 doses of vaccines have been administered in the country, including 2,390 in the last 24 hours.

A total of 13,638 coronavirus cases were confirmed among medical staff, including 3,899 physicians and 4,610 nurses.

By districts, most new cases of coronavirus during the last 24 hours were registered in Sofia (95), followed by Varna (49), Plovdiv (34), Burgas (30) and Pernik (20). In terms of the total number of infected, the capital is again first (114,157) ahead of Plovdiv (38,969), Varna (33,023), Burgas (29,234) and Blagoevgrad (19,342).
