Covid-19 in Bulgaria: 631 Newly Infected, 56 Fatalities

In the past 24 hours there have been 631 new cases of coronavirus in our country documented after 6,724 tests, data from the Single Information Portal show.

Positive are 10% of all tests carried out. The active cases as of May 4 are 48,109 and 6,706 people are being treated in hospitals, 649 are in intensive care wards.

Since the outbreak of the epidemic in Bulgaria 405,825 are the total confirmed cases.

There have been 726 cured Covid-19 patients in the last day, or 341,168 people since the outbreak of the epidemic.

In the last 24 hours, 56 people died, in total 16,548 were the victims of the pandemic.

There have been 8,887 doses of vaccines given in the last 24 hours and 833,510 since the immunization campaign began in December last year.
