All EU countries will admit tourists who have been inoculated against coronavirus with vaccines that have European Medicines Agency (EMA) certification, said President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, in an interview for The New York Times, BGNES reported.

"One thing is clear: all 27 EU Member States will unconditionally accept all travelers who have received vaccines approved by the European Medicines Agency," she said.

Von der Leyen added that the time to resume travel still depends on the epidemiological situation. She did not explain what the EU policy would be for travelers vaccinated with other vaccines.

So far, EMA has approved four vaccines for EU citizens: Pfizer/BioNTech, Moderna, British-Swedish AstraZeneca and US Johnson & Johnson.
