Covid-19 in Bulgaria: 740 Newly Infected, 82 Deaths

In the past 24 hours, 740 new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in the country, data from the single information portal show.

Yesterday, 4,129 tests were made – 2,564 PCR and 1,565 antigen.

As of April 5, there were 68,977 active cases.

Patients admitted for hospital treatment diagnosed with Covid-19 in the country are 10,649. In intensive care wards 747 patients are being treated.

Over 24 hours, the disease took the lives of 82 people, 858 are cured.

Since the outbreak of the epidemic, there have been 13,589 Covid-19 deaths, 270,433 have recovered.

The total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in the country is 352,999, of which 12,145 are medics.

The most are the newly registered cases in Sofia, Varna and Burgas.

On Sunday, 1,492 doses of vaccines were given, from at the start of the immunisation campaign the vaccinated now are 503,570.
