59 Days of Anti-Government Protests in Bulgaria

Society | September 6, 2020, Sunday // 08:40|  views

The 59th night of anti-government protests passed without tension. Traditionally, citizens gathered at the fountain in front of the Presidency.

Shortly after 8 pm, they blocked Tsar Osvoboditel Blvd., but only on the section between the BNB and the Council of Ministers. An hour later, they set off on their usual procession to the Eagle Bridge.

On their way, the protesters booed the police guarding the two buildings of the National Assembly. On the 59th evening, no attempts were made to build tent camps.
