The government remains, will not resign and the mandate will continue until the regular elections next spring. This was announced by Valeri Simeonov on Nova TV, after he participated in a coalition council with Prime Minister Boyko Borissov this morning.

Yesterday, Borissov announced that one of the options he would offer to the United Patriots was to resign.

"Boyko Borissov remains prime minister. There are no other options before us. We have work to do both in the parliament and in the executive power ", Simeonov was categorical.

He added that there was no option to resign in September. There was a similar hypothesis on the part of Tomislav Donchev, who was a guest in "Hello, Bulgaria". Simeonov also announced that the cabinet would not succumb to street pressure and escape responsibility.

"The cabinet's priorities will be to fight domestic crime, increase pensions, improve social services and living standards," Simeonov added.

"The elections will be when it is under the Constitution. Let all political parties prepare for them, "the NFSB leader advised.
