The lions from the Razgrad Zoo Terez and Masoud have grown up and they are feeling good. This was announced by the  FELIDA Big Cat Centre, quoted by bTV.

It will soon be decided whether Terez and Masoud can be transferred to the Lionrock Reserve in South Africa where they grow and hunt in their natural habitat.

Masoud and Terez were born on September 8, 2017 in Razgrad Zoo, Bulgaria. This zoo functioned as an illegal breeding station for lions. Masoud and Terez are the result of inbreeding; both their parents and grandparents are siblings. Short after they were born, they were abandoned by their mother. There was a third cub which unfortunately passed away. Masoud and Terez were rescued just in time and handraised. On February 6, 2018 they arrived at FELIDA after a long journey. There, they are receiving all needed (medical) care so they can become strond and selfconfident lions.

We need your support so can keep delivering news and information about Bulgaria! Thank you!
