Technology can dramatically change and improve education. This is illustrated by the experience of a 51 Primary School Elisaveta Bagryana, where the average result of PISA's natural sciences has improved over the years with a total of 84 points, director Asen Aleksandrov told NOVA.

Success is due to the fact that instead of limiting the use of new technologies in the school they start to apply them everywhere. So the director, instead of banning mobile phones in class, makes children work on computers and interactive boards.

In his words, modern children find it hard to perceive information that has been told to them, not shown.

At first, the changes were rejected by older teachers, who have experienced uncertainty about their authority. Thus, Alexandrov also implements another innovative solution - removing from the classrooms the typical Bulgarian podiums. Teachers begin to teach among children, while information is illustrated on interactive boards and computer monitors. And good results are not late.

Another innovative practice has begun - with the help of new technologies, parents who are experts in their field receive the opportunity, no matter where they work in the world, to make a lesson with the children.

Instead of too many lessons, students have more time to learn important things such as teamwork, empathy, emotional and social intelligence.

"Technology can and should change the way it is taught in Bulgarian schools. However, this can not happen without good teachers. As a social status, however, they are not where they should be. " This is what Gergana Passy, the founder of the Digital National Coalition, said in "Hello, Bulgaria".

She stressed that classrooms and teaching had not changed since maybe a century.

Children are not the same. So we should not be afraid of the experiment.
