The President of Austria Arrives on an Official Visit to Bulgaria

The President of the Republic of Austria Alexander van der Belen will be on official visit to Bulgaria at the invitation of the head of state Rumen Radev.
 
On May 3, at St. Alexander Nevski "in the capital from 10.00 am will take place the ceremony of the official welcome of the Austrian President. Alexander van der Belen will set a wreath at the monument to the Unknown Soldier, the press secretary of the head of state said.
 
Then the presidents of Bulgaria and Austria will hold a "four eyes" meeting of Dondukov 2, followed by the plenary talks of the official delegations of the two countries. Rumen Radev and Alexander Van der Belen will hold a joint press conference.
 
The two Presidents will make statements to the participants in the Bulgarian-Austrian Business Forum, which will take place in the Sredets Hall of the Balkan Hotel.

On May 4, Alexander van der Belen will take part in the informal meeting of the presidents of Bulgaria, Romania and Austria in the city of Rousse. 


The political will of the three countries that will consecutively preside over the Council of the European Union is expected to be reaffirmed for continuity on key topics such as the European perspective for the Western Balkans, the future of cohesion policy, energy and transport connectivity in the Danube region.
 
During his visit to Bulgaria, President Aleksandar Van der Belene will also meet with Prime Minister Boyko Borisov.
