29% of EU citizens between the ages of 20 and 34 usually work on weekends, according to Eurostat. Our country is below the average for the community - just under 20% are engaged at the time most people rest.

At European level, the percentage of graduates employed on a weekly basis is the smallest. However, it is most likely that the working day will be significantly longer than the conventional one, to collect them for over 49 hours a week. Still, however, the majority of young people working weekend are poorly educated.

Nearly half of the working Greek youths (47%) by 2016 worked on Saturdays and Sundays. 40% of Italians, 38% of Irish, 36% of Dutch, 35% of Spaniards, and 34% of Britons up to 34 years old are in the same situation.

At the other end of the list are Hungary, where only 11% of young people work on Saturdays and Sundays. Followed by Portugal (12%), Poland (13%) and the Czech Republic and Croatia (18%).
