GERB To Hold Talks With Bulgaria's President on New Mandate

The meeting of the parliamentary group of GERB and President Rossen Plevneliev will take place on Thursday, announced in Parliament the Deputy Chairman of the party Tsvetan Tsvetanov.

There will be political consultations which the President will hold with all groups represented in Parliament in order to look for solutions useful for the state, said Tsvetanov.

According to the constitution, when a PM hands in his/her resignation, the President must hand back the mandate to the largest party in Parliament, then to the second largest and, if he so chooses, to one other group represented in Parliament, if the previous two have returned the mandate unfulfilled.
