“The group is backing me. I will not tender in my resignation,” stated the chairwoman of Parliament Tsetska Tsacheva to journalists, reported BGNES.

“Today, at the emergency meeting, an agenda was voted which cannot be changed. Tomorrow, the meeting will start at 14:00 hrs with only one point on the agenda – the resignation of PM Borisov and his cabinet. My forecast is that we will start with the budgets of the National Health Insurance Fund (NZOK) and the National Insurance Institute (NOI), as well as the State Budget Act on Thursday,” added Tsacheva.

The earliest possible date for snap parliamentary elections is March 26, 2017.

According to constitutional experts, the only person who can call the snap elections is the newly-elected President Rumen Radev who will assume office on January 22.
