GERB Perceives First Round of Elections as Protest Vote

GERB perceives the results of the first round of presidential elections as a protest vote, stated Interior Minister Rumyana Bachvarova.

“We have grounds to listen to the voice of citizens which showed that there is dissatisfaction and it took the shape of support for General Radev. I would like to assure you that we read these signals very well and we are taking them into account. Obviously, this is a protest vote against the ruling majority.”
