The relatives of the 7 Turkish citizens handed over to Turkey in the middle of October will sue Bulgaria at the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) in Strasbourg, reported bTV.

They have decided to file law suits against the return of their relatives to Turkey where they are being indicted on terrorism charges because of using the ByLock application. Turkish authorities claim the application was used by supporters of Fethullah Gulen, a cleric accused of organising the unsuccessful coup attempt in July.

The ByLock application was created by a Turkish expert in 2014 and, according to Ankara, was used a means of communication between gulenists.
