Russian MP Tolstoy Describes Statement About Bulgaria As Humourous

The Russian journalist and  United Russia MP Pyotr Tolstoy has described his statement about Bulgaria as humourous and assured that he had no intention of offending the country or its citizens, reported BGNES.

Tolstoy specified that he had merely pointed out the fact that Russians purchase actively real estate on the territory of Bulgaria.

“There is nothing wrong with that and it was not my goal to offend Bulgaria or Bulgarians in any way. I am surprised by such an inadequate interpretation of this wholly humourous statement,” added Tolstoy.
