A Syrian national has been injured in a shooting in the capital Sofia, police say.

The man has been hospitalized.

Two people who allegedly took part in the shooting, aged 24 and 30, have been detained in relation to the incident.

The developments took place in a neighborhood located not far from Sofia's city center.

The Syrian national was not a migrant, but lived in Bulgaria on a permanent residence permit.
