Extreme Risk of Fire in Bulgaria's Haskovo Throughout Monday

Bulgarian weather authorities are warning of an extreme risk of fire in the region of Haskovo, in the country's southeast, on Monday.

A minor alert is in force for much of southern Bulgaria, including the regions of Yambol, Blagoevgrad, Kyustendil, Pazardzhik, and Pernik.

Hundreds of wildfires broke out across the country in August, spreading to thousands of acres of land. Most of these occurred in Southern Bulgaria.
