Vladimir Dubov with Chance to Win Bronze Medal for Team Bulgaria

A Georgian wrestler managed to defat the strong Bulgarian Vladimir Dubov in the competition for the olympic gold medal in Rio.

Vladimir Hinchegashvili defeated Dubov with 8:4 points, effectively sending Dubov to the match for the bronze medal in freestyle wrestling.

The Bulgarian freestyle wrestling champion in the 57kg category scored incredibly up to that match, winning by a technical fall in the game against Daniel Dennis of USA by 11:0 and then repeating the exercise against Ivan Guidea of Romania.

This will be the secon chance Bulgaria has had for a medal at the Rio 2016 Olympic games.
