Three people have been taken to hospital after a collision with a diplomatic vehicle in the central area of Sofia, police say.

Their injuries have been described as "minor".

The incident took place around 00:30 local time, at the junction of Evlogi and Hristo Georgievi Blvd and General Yosif V Gurko Str.

Which diplomatic institution uses the car was not immediately clear.
